This is SO cool – just type in the title of a song, the artist, a combination and you’ll get a list of options that you can immediately listen to it, rate it, etc. An online jukebox…
What was the first song you looked for? With me it was Summer Love from Justin, again a really cool song from him. I used to not really like him but he’s really grown into an innovative music maker. Or maybe I’m just turning poppy

My favorite song for the moment – I find myself humming it all the time lately. Can’t find any original version though, does anyone know?
I found the guitar tabs! Click here for the chords and here for the picking part (If you start at the fifth fret you get the string notes as they are on the ukelele these guys are playing). Make sure you post your recordings of the song to the comments!

Chocolate Rain
This is undoubtedly the video of the summer – been watched millions of times and spoofed just as many times. Here is the original:

Musicovery: play your mood
Fond of new music but don’t feel like logging in anywhere or looking for certain artists? How about Musicovery as an alternative: either pick a point somewhere between dark and positive, energetic and calm, or just choose a genre, and watch linked bubbles appear with different artists corresponding to your mood. From every song you can go and link to other musical atmospheres.
I liked this better than, say, Last.fm because I get to listen quicker and with less hassles, and I can change moods in a second – which is mostly the way I listen to music: mood-driven. I don’t know how expansive their library is though, or whether they are still expanding it. I also like the layout and the fact that it’s really simple – although that can quickly change if the service were to become popular.

TUN3R: Web 2.0 Internet Radio Search
is an interesting new concept for internet radio listening.
It contains a big grid containing top-rated internet radio stations. By dragging the needle around, you can hear audio samples streamed from stations, as well as browse through the broadcaster’s recent playlist. The index includes 1,400 stations covering over 40 languages and 25 different musical genres. You can also search stations’ playlists for artists and songs you’re interested in hearing.
There is definitely something about the layout and the way it works. The database is extensive and the ability to view playlists as well as sample audio refines the internet radio search experience. Definitely a site that’s worth visiting if you’re searching for an online radio station.

Flight of the Conchords
A New Zealand duo that do ‘folk parody’ of well-known songs and also make their own. It’s hard to select but here are a few:

Online typing games
Up Beat |
| Play this free game now!! |
Great game for beginning blind typists. Keep the rythm with the keyboard.
Another good game for typists of all levels is TyperShark, where you get lowered into the sea and have to kill the attacking sharks by typing the word that is written on them.
And if you liked Bloxorz but got stuck in one of the levels, here are the solutions!
